It's okay to Stumble...God has your hand

You and I will stumble in our walk with the Lord but one thing we can rest assure about and that is He will never let us fall. How many times have you started out doing one thing for God and you start out pretty good but somehow after a day or two you stop doing it? Did you know that is known as a stumble?

So often in our walk we are brought to our knees for a brief moment in a season but we don't stay there for God's hand comes and lift us up. God cares and loves each one of us so much that He sustains us. But aren't you so glad that God knows the hearts of every man women and child? That though you start out doing good you make a mistake and He's right there to guide you right back to the place where you left off? I am so reminded of this verse in Psalm 37:24, though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Family that is assurance that you and I can rest in. Nothing in life itself can give us this type of assurance. When we mess up and stumble with man they aren't so willing to hold our hand to see us through. But when we stumble with God He is right there to hold your hand so you don't fall. Many times as I look back over my walk with the Lord I don't have to go back to the day it begin I can go back and look at yesterday and I can see had not God held my hand I would of fallen. 

I challenge you today, to be aware of the Lord holding your hand. I know it may sound weird or strange but we can get so use to our daily routine that we miss taking a hold of God's hands before we start the day. We know He holds our hands but this morning before you do anything or go out your door first take a hold of His hand and let His hand guide you today.

Hi Desiray. Lovely post. I like what you say about nothing in this life can give you this assurance, that God is there holding our hands, helping us up when stumbling.

It's ok to stumble - what a beautiful thought. I often think it is also ok to explore a little, God will watch over us. As Christians we need to be more risk taking, or at least I do.

LOL - I looked down a the word verification to finish these comments and you know what it says:

youdo.

So I guess God is telling me I DO need to more of a risk taker. Ha!

Wonderful, encouraging reminder today Desiray! He is indeed holding our hands thorough our lives, we simply need to allow ourselves to feel that companionship and accept his guidance.

Things I Constantly Pray about:

Praying for all marriages across the world that they will make Christ the center of it

Praying for our Leaders in position that they will uphold the truth and do what is right in the sight of God’s eye.

Praying for healing for the body of Christ that we will be the church that Jesus said we are to be

Praying for the Lost who don’t know Jesus

Praying that our flesh will come into submission to the Will of God

Sin is what separates us from God, and the only way for us to be reconciled with God was the crucifixion of God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ, on a cross for our sins.
Romans 10:9-10, 13, says, That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and you are saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and you are saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The Sinner’s Prayer
Jesus I come to you now asking for forgiveness of my sins. For I am a sinner and I confess my sins and repent of them Jesus. I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins and on the third day He arose and now is seated at the right hand of the Father, I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and live with me and cleanse me by your blood. In Jesus name AMEN! If you have said this prayer today then I say welcome into the family of God for you are now a born again believer child of God. Luke 15:7 says “There is great rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents.”
Now that you are born again you need to find a church to attend that preaches God’s word.

Life is all about finding God

God gives us the answers to life's hardest questions. Life itself is very challenging and often times it pulls us from one spectrum to the next. It's like being in a whirl-wind and not knowing what to do next. The key to the whirl-wind is found in Jesus.

And so we ask ourselves some pretty heavy questions for instance: Do I have to follow every rule in the bible, do I have to go to church, will I make God angry with me, I have doubts about Christians, do I have to read the bible everyday, must I pray..etc

Living a Spirit Full Life

For a Christian our main ingredient of living a Spirit Full life is "Discipleship" a disciple lay down one's life and follow Christ. It's an outer appearance of what has taken place on the inside of a person. A disciple abides in the word...if you hold to my teachings you are really my disciples....John 8:31 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says....James 1:22
